Bruce C. Toney

Program Director

A native Californian, born in San Francisco, Bruce attended the University of San Francisco where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Relations/Organizational Development. Bruce is a US Army Veteran, and served proudly in Vietnam and Berlin Germany, with the American Forces Radio & Television Networks.

Throughout a 30 year law enforcement career Bruce worked a variety of assignments, including the nation’s first Law Enforcement agency’s High Technology Crime’s Investigations Unit, where he received extensive training in High-Tech Crime and Computer Forensics investigations, instructor in the Basic Police Academy and In-Service Police Training. Bruce has testified in both Criminal and Civil Courts as an expert witness in Self-Defense and Computer Security matters.

Additionally, Bruce is a former member of the High Technology Crimes Investigator’s Association, the California Child Exploitation Investigators Association and the American Society for Industrial Security. Bruce is a licensed Private Investigator and is currently under contract to perform sensitive investigations for the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and Immigration Custom & Enforcement.
